COVID-19 (Coronavirus) advice

GAMSAT MARCH 2020 - UPDATED ADVICE TO CANDIDATES

Monday 30 March 2020: 

Please note the GAMSAT online registration system is now open for the New GAMSAT May 2020 online test registration. The test will be delivered online by remote proctoring from 28 May 2020 - 2 June 2020. Please watch this SHORT VIDEO to learn how remote proctoring works (this is not GAMSAT-specific). Candidates will sit the test at home or at a private location of their choice.  All candidates sitting GAMSAT online will be required to have a stable internet connection and a suitable working computer.

Candidates were emailed on 30 Marcg 2020 and instructed to log in to their GAMSAT account and update their current registration.

Eligible candidates (after 6 March 2020) will have three options available to them:

  • Sit by Remote Proctoring
  • Defer your registration
  • Request a refund.

Deferred candidates (processed after 6 March 2020) will have two options available to them:

  • Sit by Remote Proctoring
  • Request a refund.

(Deferred candidates who wish to remain deferred do not have to update their registration.)

Refunded candidates (processed after 6 March 2020) will have one option available to them:

  • Sit by Remote Proctoring.

(Refunded candidates who wish to remain refunded do not have to update their registration.)

The deadline date for selecting an option was 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on 9 April 2020 or 10am British Summer Time (BST) on 9 April 2020. Candidates who do not update their account by this deadline will automatically be deferred to the GAMSAT September 2020 sitting.  

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates who wish to remain refunded or deferred do not have to update their registration.

Applications for refunds and deferrals closed at 7pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on 9 April 2020 or 10am British Summer Time (BST) on 9 April 2020.
